As an implementation of the protocol signed between the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB), the SSB Journeyman Program was initiated. T.C. The Ministry of Labor and Social Security will contribute through İŞKUR. In addition, ASELSAN, TUSAŞ, ROKETSAN, HAVELSAN, STM, TEI, SSTEK and TR Education and Technology companies will provide support during the implementation phase of the training process.

The Journeyman Program is specially designed for young people, and the competencies of young people are gained at the university; It is aimed to provide qualified human resources for our defense industry by supporting it with technical training programs and workshops.

The Journeyman Program will be held for the young people who were affected by the earthquakes that took place in Kahramanmaraş on February 6, 2023, and affected 11 provinces, especially in the first term.

With the Journeyman Program, young people will participate in training specially designed for the defense industry and approved by YÖK, they will do workshops in the defense industry companies named above, they will receive financial support through İŞKUR and at the end of the program, they will have the opportunity to be employed in the defense industry.
