Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Faculty of Health Sciences Nursing Department Academician Dr. Instructor Under the direction of Tuğba BİLGEHAN, Res. Asist. Ayşegül AKCA and Res. Asist. Perver KARŞIGİL's field researcher, Assoc. Dr. Emre DÜNDER andProf. Sultan AYAZ ALKAYA. The project titled "Epidemiology of Chronic Diseases, Detection of Symptoms, Health Requirements and Determination of Coping Strategies in Earthquake-Stricken Individuals", in which Sultan AYAZ ALKAYA was involved as a researcher, was accepted within the scope of TUBITAK 1002-C Field Study Focused on Natural Disasters Emergency Support Programme. The fieldwork will cover the cities of Kahramanmaraş, Hatay and Osmaniye and is planned to last for 15 days. Faculty Members/Staff whose projects were accepted started their work in the disaster area. We would like to thank the researchers for their contributions to public health in these days when our country is going through difficult times and wish them success.
